Penelec Customer Assistance Program

This program helps individuals below the 150% Poverty level.  The CAP program lowers your monthly bill based on household size and income.  To apply, check for your county below.

Valley Energy Customer Assistance Program

This program helps individuals below the 150% Poverty level.  The CAP program puts the Valley Energy Customer on a 12 month budget that may be lower than a non CAP customer due to income and household usage.  To apply, check for your county below.

Dollar Energy-PPL Gas

This program helps individuals below the 200% Poverty Level.  The program can help a PPL Gas customer receive a grant maximum of $400 towards their past due gas bill.  From October 1st through February 28th, the program is open to individuals who are shut off only. Beginning March 1st, the program is open to all individuals who qualify.  In order to be eligible, the customer must have paid a minimum of 150% in the previous 90 days.
