"The WILBUR", is TREHAB’s first multi-family housing development.   Renovation work on this historic building began in April, 2001, and the building opened for residency in July, 2002.

The $3.5 million renovation development has taken a deteriorated building in need of major repair and created affordable and very appealing one and two-bedroom apartments.  Residency is low-income general occupancy with special outreach to the elderly.  Apartments are available which accommodate the disabled and hearing/vision impaired.

The development holds four commercial shops on the first floor and 30 apartments on the upper three floors. The apartments are spacious with individual heating and air conditioning.  State-of-the-art fire measures are installed (sprinkler system, fire-rated walls and doors), and a coded entry system was installed for residents.  A new stair and elevator tower was added, a laundry room, and a community room.  All mechanical and electrical systems have been replaced.

For information regarding apartment availability and monthly rent, please contact the building manager’s office at (570) 888-7376.
