Trehab Workforce Development Programs recently began proctoring WorkKeys exams. These standardized tests measure career readiness by assessing proficiency in a variety of common skill sets. Tester scores are then matched up against a research based database delineating what levels a worker should have to excel in a particular position. Remediation is available for those needing help to reach these levels. A certificate is presented to the tester after the test stating his or her level of achievement, which can be entered into a national reporting system accessed by employers.
Job seekers can use this test to document their abililities prior to applying for a position. Employers can use the test to ensure their workers have the baseline skills to succeed in a position. The purpose of this program is to improve job retention.
