Golden Eagle

Formally known as the Golden Eagle Hotel, this housing project is located in downtown Towanda, Bradford County, PA.

The building was extensively renovated and offers two commercial units on first floor and four spacious rental apartments on second and third floors.

All mechanical and electrical systems were replaced providing energy efficient apartments.

The apartments have two or three bedrooms with amenities such as air conditioning, security system and laundry services.

This project was opened for occupancy in June of 2004.

The Golden Eagle supports area affordable housing and community development strategies by providing adequate housing for low-moderate income families.   This historical structure was extensively renovated at a cost of $1.2 million and offers two commercial units on first floor and four affordable rental apartments on second and third floors.  All mechanical and electrical systems were replaced resulting in an up-to-date, energy efficient building.  The attractive apartments have two or three bedrooms with amenities such as air conditioning, security system and laundry services.  Individual heat and air conditioning and domestic hot water were installed along with separate gas and electric services for each apartment.  Ample off-street parking is provided.  This project was opened for occupancy in June of 2004.
