Emergency Food Program

The Food Bank is meant to help you in Emergency Situations. Trehab is here to help you, If you are in need, you may to the Food Bank nearest your home (find food bank locations). Date of Birth and Social Security numbers's for everyone in the household are needed. Anyone who lives in the home, or shares a kitchen is considered a member of the family. I. D. for everyone in the household showing residency of Susquehanna County. We can and will help you if you have no food even if you do not have documents on your first visit to the Food Bank. After signing up, you may receive Food every 30 days at the Food Bank. If you have an ongoing situation, where you are unable to obtain enough food for the month, counseling is available.

Food Drives

If you are interested in a running a Food Drive we are very grateful for any donations received. All food and monetary donations stay in Susquehanna County.

Senior Citizen Commodity Supplemental Food Program

This is a program for persons over 60 who meet the income requirement of 125% of the poverty guideline. Each month, in addition to the regular food bank order, the participants receive a box of food consisting of cereal, canned fruits,& vegetables, fruit juice, a starch, source of protein, like peanut butter) fish or canned meat and a 3 lb. box of cheese. The variety of food varies. This program is LIMITED AND SPACES ARE LIMITED.

Annual Thanksgiving Feed A Friend Program

Trehab and WNEP Channel 16 have run this successful program for over 23 years. Food Drives are organized along with campaigns to raise money to purchase Turkeys so that needy individuals, families, and the elderly can have a joyous holiday dinner. This program could not be possible without the help of School Districts, Churches, Grocery Stores, Civic Organizations, Scouts Local and Out of State Business and many more.

Cleaning Products, Bath Soap, Shampoo, Laundry Detergent, Baby Wipes, Disposable Baby Diapers, Toilet Paper, Trash Bags, Tooth Paste, Tooth Brushes

We supplement our regular Food baskets with donated items. Please check the expiration dates on products, we cannot give out dated products.
