Community Services
The Community Services program is dedicated to improving the overall condition of life in local communities, by providing essential programs to assist low-income individuals and families.
Helping our clients become more economically independent and self-sufficient is the primary goal of Community Services.
Services vary from county to county but include nutrition assistance, a broad range of housing services, and employment assistance as well.
This program helps individuals below the 150% Poverty level. The CAP program lowers your mothly bill based on household size and income. To Apply check for you county below.

This program helps individuals below the 150% Poverty level. The CAP program puts the Valley Energy Customer on a 12 month budget that may be lower than a non CAP customer due to income and household usage. To Apply check for your county below.

This program helps individuals below the 200% Poverty Level. The program can help a PPL Gas customer receive a grant maximum of $400 towards their past due gas bill. From October 1st through February 28th, the program is open to individuals who are shut off only. Beginning March 1st, the program is open to all individuals who qualify. In order to be eligible, the customer must have paid a minimum of %150 in the previous 90 days. To Apply check for your county below.
